1 Branson Balloon - 3218 Shepherd of the Hills Expressway / Branson / Call 417-336-6060 for information. It may be tethered but it is still a trip into the blue, Branson Balloon offers a unique glimpse of the area from a high vantage point. During the 15 minute trip, the balloon slowly ascends to 500 feet over Table Rock Lake and is capable lifting up to 30 passengers at a time while offering wonderful views of the landscape from above.

As it’s name implies, there is a Celebration in Branson every night throughout the summer! From the “Coney Island-style ” boardwalk with games of skill, arcades, shops and dining establishments, to the Thrill Rides from amazing and multiple coasters to Swirly chutes and spinning rides to go-carts, there is something for everyone at Celebration City including an amazing evening light-show spectacular. It’s splashing good time to be found year-round at this duo of waterparks, one is indoors and the other outdoors. The outdoor park is seasonal and features the Eureka Mine waterslide, Froggie Bog and Hatfield Holler. Bransons original showstopper, the “Shepherd of the Hills” outdoor drama is presented nightly at 8:30 pm throughout the summer season. Based on Harold Bell Wright’s famous book published in 1907, the drama highlights the regional history and honors the struggles and triumphs of the past, bringing these events to life. Ninety actors as well as live horses and a herd of sheep set the stage for this outdoor performance held from May to October. An old favorite, Silver Dollar City just seems to improve with age. Always updating with daring rides and awesome coasters, the ambience is still centered around an 1880s Americana theme. The 13,500 square feet Indoor park contains Finland birch ramps, the larger and expanding outdoor concrete park has a rippin' bowl, flow course and street plaza. / All riders must wear safety gear and those under 18 years of age must have a parent signed (in person) waiver on file / Spectator seating / Pro shop / Concessions / Beginner lessons / Helmet rentals / Open year-round.

A blast from the past, just like the good old days of the fifties this drive-in movie theater is open in nearby Aurora. Open since 1951, this is one of the rare survivors of an era. / Open April through October
